"Dear 40-Year-Old Me" | An EPIC Premiere
The Alliance is excited to premiere its new video featuring Alliance Youth Committee members and other youth involved with our work. We hope this video inspires you to get involved in making schools better places for ALL youth, especially those that are lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender.

Some immediate actions you can take today:

3) Download, print and hang proudly the latest in a series of Alliance posters!

We believe the personal journeys highlighted in the video will spark change and promote understanding in all who view it. Please take a second and share it with your colleagues, friends, and family in Illinois and elsewhere.

We’d also like to thank the youth who shared their stories in the video, as well as EPIC and their volunteer Rally members, which generously donated time and resources to produce it. The video credits can be found here.

The Alliance Bowl-a-thon: Youth & Adults Allied for Safer Schools! (June 2012)
As part of Pride 2012, the Alliance and its Youth Committee will be hosting its 1st Annual Bowl-a-thon, a fundraiser to support our ongoing work to make schools and communities safe and respectful places for all young people. The event will bring together Chicagoland GSAs and adult supporters for a fun-filled bowling extravaganza.

The Bowl-a-thon will take place on Saturday, June 9, from 1pm - 3pm and will be held at Diversey Bowl (2211 W. Diversey, Chicago).

What are the ways to participate?
      * Be a Team Captain: Recruit 4 additional bowlers and all raise $1,500 as a team!
      * Be a Bowler: Raise at least $300 and be placed on a team of other bowlers.
      * Be a Donor: Contribute a donation of any amount and help sponsor the event.
